June 30, 2008: Barcelona Part 1

After 5 days in Bar(the)lona for me and Danny (Dre’s been here for like 3 weeks), we’ve been having a blast. We’ve taken a guided tour of the Catalonia Music Hall, a walking tour of some of the crazily designed Gaudi

We four in front of the steps leading up to Park Guell, designed by Antoni Gaudi

houses and buildings (by Andres’s teacher), walked around a sweet park designed by Gaudi, Park Guell, watched the Eurocup Semifinals at a sports bar on Thursday night (Spain will play in the final against Germany tonight and people are gonna go nuts), went to the (topless) beach twice, have walked around the city a bunch, went out to a crazy shot bar last night called Chupitos where they have like 200 different kinds of shots, ranging from the Boyscout (which we took, right) where you roast a marshmallow over the lit shot before you take it, to the Kentucky which Danny took, to the Monica Lewinski which i’ll spare you the details of and then partied on the beach late.
